Annual Meeting of the Need Analysis Council
June 17-18, 2008
Washington Duke Inn
Durham, NC

The Annual Meeting of the Need Analysis Council will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, June 17-18, at the Washington Duke Inn in Durham, NC . A registration form is available online and should be completed by May 20th; hotel reservations at the Inn (see details below) should also be made by May 27th.

There will be no charge for the primary representative from each member institution in current status. A $350 per person registration fee will be charged for each additional institutional participant. Certified need-blind, non-member institutions may send one representative to attend the two-day conference at a cost of $350 per person.

Participants should plan on arriving by noon for lunch on June 17th (the meeting will begin at 1pm) and departing by 1pm on June 18th. For those planning to arrive by plane, the Inn is a 15-20 minute drive from RDU (Raleigh-Durham) Airport. In order to help facilitate travel to and from the Conference Center, we will collect travel information from registrants for those interested in sharing transportation.

Washington Duke Inn is adjacent to the Duke University campus. It offers an in-house Fitness Center featuring Lifefitness/Hammerstrength equipment -- three treadmills & elliptical trainers, two recumbent bikes and five weight machines; 3.1-mile walking and running path through Duke Forest; immediate access to championship Duke University Golf Club; in-door swimming pool on-site; restaurants on the premises; and high speed wireless or wired Internet access in all guest rooms.

A block of rooms has been set aside at a preferred single rate of $179 for those planning to stay overnight (for those planning to arrive early, the rate is also $179). Participants must pay for their own accommodations, as well as dinner (a full buffet breakfast is included for all overnight guests of the Inn). The deadline for booking a room at the guaranteed rate is May 27th and participants are encouraged to contact the hotel at their earliest convenience at 800-443-3853 and reference that you are part of the “568 Group Meeting” or group number 156555.

Please contact Sydney Earle with questions concerning meeting logistics and accommodations and Jim Belvin for matters relating to the program.
